Struggling to Learn in the Tampa, FL area?

Do you or your child have struggles with learning new things at school or work? As an adult, do you have difficulties organizing or completing work-related tasks, distractibility, and memory problems.

Academic failure can be devastating to those who experience it. No matter how much effort is put forth,  it may never seem to be enough. Many parents are confused because learning new things previously was easy and now it is not. Adults that struggle often describe their brain getting foggy and slow down compared to how they use to process information.

Sometimes a decline occurs in one’s thinking abilities as a direct result of a medical, neurological, or neurodevelopmental disorder. We have helped a myriad of clients gain clarity and refine what problems should be worked on first and with what emphasis.

If you are experiencing these struggles, neurological testing can help you figure out what is wrong and a proper course of action.

Neuropsychological testing is a non-invasive set of standardized tests that observes behavior to determine how you or your child’s individual pattern of strengths and weaknesses.

A referral for neuropsychological testing is often made when someone is having struggles with learning and memory after having a traumatic brain injury, sickle cell, stroke, epilepsy, or other diagnoses related to a medical or developmental condition.

The results give you information about you or your child’s strengths and weaknesses, which is important for setting and tracking treatment and education goals.
